Southeast Asia air quality webinar hosted by NREL, the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), and the University of Minnesota: NREL, ACE, and research partners from the University of Minnesota presented on an ongoing AIMS-III task exploring the air quality and public health implications of regional renewable energy scale-up and interconnection on September 30, 2021.

The webinar reviewed the project and provided an introduction to the Global InMAP model, an air quality and public health model that can be used to evaluate the impacts of changes in the power sector. This training supports ACE staff and other stakeholders in the region in learning how to apply the Global InMAP model for future research, which could have implications in public health and air quality policy driving renewable energy deployment.
